Rappelling at Minas Viejas and Waterfall Jump
The Minas Viejas waterfall measures 50 meters (little over 164 feet), and we will find ourselves surrounded by exuberant vegetation with the most turquoise water holes of the Huasteca region. You descend by rappelling the slope right next to the waterfall. The descent is performed with special braking gear, as well as an additional line supervised and controlled at all times by our guides so that all you do is concentrate on admiring the landscape from another perspective, and if the level of water allows it, we will continue with the waterfall jump at the Micos River.
In the case that the Micos does not have an adequate level of water, we will take you on an excursion to see a 35 meter (almost 115 feet) waterfall, which is called El Meco, and during the rainy season, you will see the “El Salto”, a spectacular 70 meter (over 229 feet) waterfall.
